The Tender Land
(Savannah Greene as Laurie Moss)Jessie Kane! The show is over! Phew. It went pretty well. That Copland is crazy, modern music is crazy. I never did get my hard section totally right, but you know what? (No one could tell.) It was a lot of work and a great experience. The sets were the best I've seen at UCSB and the cast was phenomenal. My sister made a comment about my always crying in my operas. Can I help it if I'm type-cast? That's what I get for being a dramatic soprano. Above are a couple clips from the show and a couple reviews from local papers.
